My children are 5th generation Kent School District students, going back to my great grandmother who graduated from Kent High School (located where Mill Creek Middle School now stands) in 1939. I graduated from Kentlake High School and my children will attend Kentwood High School in a few years.
I served in the United States Air Force and was deployed twice, first to Qatar during Operation Enduring Freedom and second to Iraq during Operation iraqi Freedom. I am currently a project manager at a local telecommunications company having worked for them for the past 17 years, after earning a B.A.S. in Network Administration and Security from Green River College.
Our family is heavily involved with our school community. I am currently a board member of my daughters' school PTA and can often be found volunteering in my off time there. My wonderful wife, Alicia, has taught in the Kent School District for over 17 years.
